If Harmoniva Premium is not right for you, email us within 14 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to cancel first — we handle the cancellation as part of the refund.
We built Harmoniva because we genuinely believe in what it does for musicians. If you subscribe and find that it is not the right fit, we do not want to keep your money. This policy is written to be fair, specific, and easy to act on.
We also stand behind the product. If something is not working as expected, or the Service did not deliver what was promised, reach out before requesting a refund — our support team can often fix the problem in minutes, and we would rather keep you than keep your payment.
Every account starts on the free plan, which never expires and never asks for a card. On top of that, each user may claim one free 15-day Premium trial — full access, no payment method required, and it simply ends on its own.
Because the trial gives you the complete Premium experience before any money changes hands, most refund requests can be avoided entirely. A trial period is free, so there is nothing to refund for it.
You are eligible for a full refund of a Premium payment if you contact us within 14 calendar days of that charge. This covers:
The 14-day window starts on the date the payment is processed, not on the date you first log in. If your payment is processed on June 1, the window closes at the end of June 15.
The guarantee is a per-charge right, not a per-account one, but it is not a way to use Premium for free indefinitely: we may decline a repeat request from an account that has already been refunded for the same plan. If that ever applies to you, we will tell you plainly and in writing rather than quietly refusing.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. Where those rights are stronger than the guarantee above, the law wins.
To exercise a statutory withdrawal right, a plain email saying you withdraw from the contract is enough — no particular form or wording is required.
Requesting a refund is simple and takes less than two minutes:
Email us within the refund window
Send an email to support@harmoniva.app with the subject line "Refund Request."
Include your account email
Tell us the email address on your Harmoniva account and the approximate date of the payment. If you would like to say what did not work for you, we read every word — but it is optional and it never affects the decision.
We confirm and process
We confirm your request within 1 business day and start processing it immediately. See "Refund Process & Timeline" below for how long the money takes to reach you.
You do not need to cancel your subscription before asking for a refund — cancellation is part of the refund process. If you cancel yourself first, that is fine too: cancelling does not forfeit your refund right, as long as you contact us inside the window.
Outside the cases listed above, refunds are generally not available in these situations:
This list is not a wall. If you think you have a fair claim that falls outside it — a charge you never authorised, a technical problem that kept you from using what you paid for, a payment made by a family member without your knowledge — write to us. We review those cases individually and we decide them in good faith.
If you subscribe inside a Harmoniva mobile app using an in-app purchase, Apple or Google is the merchant of record for that transaction — we never receive your payment details and we are not able to refund it ourselves.
If the store declines your request and you believe the 14-day guarantee above should apply, contact us with your order number. We cannot reverse a store charge, but we can extend equivalent Premium access or credit at our expense so you are not left out of pocket.
Subscriptions purchased on our website are billed by us and are handled entirely under this policy.
Once a refund is approved:
Refunds usually appear on your card or bank statement within 5–10 business days of our processing date. The exact timing is set by your card issuer or bank and is outside our control; some banks take up to 14 business days, and a few show the refund with the original transaction date.
If the refund has not arrived after 14 business days, check with your bank first, then contact us — we will chase it with our payment provider and send you the transaction reference.
If you do not recognise a charge, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. Almost every case we see is an annual renewal or a family member's purchase, and we can usually refund it the same day — far faster than a chargeback, which typically takes 6–12 weeks to resolve.
When a chargeback is opened we respond with our transaction records. While a dispute is open we may suspend Premium access on the account until it is resolved, and an account with a chargeback may need to settle the balance before subscribing again. We do not charge dispute fees back to users.
Harmoniva connects students with independent teachers and music schools, but we are not a party to any lesson agreement between them. Fees for private lessons, appointments, or tuition arranged through a teacher or school are paid directly to that teacher or school under their own terms — we do not collect them, and this policy does not cover them. Ask your teacher or school about their cancellation and refund terms.
This policy does cover the Harmoniva subscriptions themselves, including the teacher and school plans purchased from us. Where a school or institution buys seats for its members under a separate written agreement, the refund terms of that agreement apply and prevail over this page.
Promotional credits, gifted or complimentary Premium periods, coupons, and discounts have no cash value and are not refundable or exchangeable for money.
Prices are charged in US dollars unless stated otherwise at checkout. Refunds are issued in the original currency and for the original amount charged, including any tax we collected.
If your card is in another currency, the amount that lands back in your account may differ slightly from what left it, because your bank applies its own exchange rate on each conversion. Foreign-transaction fees charged by your bank are set by your bank and cannot be refunded by us.
We may update this Refund Policy as the Service changes. The version in force when you made a payment is the version that governs that payment, so a later change can never reduce a refund right you already had. Material changes are announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect, and the "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
Have a question about a refund, or think a charge is wrong? Write to us — a person reads every message.
