Delete Your Account

Harmoniva — ear training and music theory. This page explains how to delete your Harmoniva account and what happens to your data.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

The short version

  • You can delete your account yourself — in the Harmoniva app or here on the web.
  • Deletion is permanent: you are signed out immediately and cannot sign in again.
  • Your profile, practice history, statistics and posts stop being accessible and are removed from the app.
  • Your e-mail address is released, so you can start over with a brand new account whenever you like.

Delete here, on the web

Sign in with the account you want to delete and this page will show the delete button. You can also use Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following stops being accessible and is removed from Harmoniva:

  • Your profile: name, username, e-mail address, avatar, country, city, date of birth and any Google sign-in link.
  • Your musical profile: instruments, level, goals, interests, bio and questionnaire answers.
  • Your practice history: exercise sessions, answers, scores, streaks, statistics and Learning Path progress.
  • Your social activity: posts, likes, follows, game scores and leaderboard entries.
  • Your messages and, if you are a teacher or a school, your public profile listing.

What we keep, and for how long

A deleted account cannot be used, seen or recovered by you. A deactivated record stays in our systems, out of reach of the app, for as long as the law requires us to keep it:

  • Payment and invoice records, which tax and accounting law requires us to retain (10 years in Türkiye).
  • Security and abuse logs needed to protect other members.
  • The deactivated account record itself, so we can answer support and legal requests about it.

If you would rather have everything erased than deactivated, write to us and we will carry out a full erasure, subject to the legal retention above.

Paid subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels any active Premium subscription immediately, so you are not billed again. Deleting is not a refund request — see our Refund Policy if you are still within the refund window.

Your rights over your personal data, erasure included, are set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
